The day has bittersweet memories, as they stopped a ride was on because a young child was terrified of Charlotte’s appearance.
I used to work with Tom & Marie Russell (her paternal grandparents) back when this happened, and I remember how horrified and angry they were at her biological parents to endanger her so. I am so glad to see that she has a very loving and supportive family that is giving her the life she deserves. Best wishes for a successful surgery and quick recovery! My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you!

Thank you, Kerri. Charlotte is such a trooper. My heart breaks every time I think of all of the unnecessary pain she has had to go through, but I try to remember that everything happens for a reason. Charlotte is finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and I’m happy to be by her side as she approaches it. //Amber Ponce (Charlotte’s sister-in-law)
